My friend use to tell me this fucking things but it helps :))
Change and Time!!!! Time will heal your broken heart it always does, there's no quick remedy for a broken heart, it hurts, and it's going to for quite some time that's just how the heart is, but on the upside it almost always heals or at the very least mends itself so you can go on living your life again. And change because that's what you're going to need to pull yourself out of the dumps. Change is hard and scarry but when you change something it can really make a good difference for you and give you something positive to focus on instead of the failed relationship. It can be simple like a makeover, a new haircut always makes someone feel new and pretty and better about themselves or it can be something major like moving to a new state city or town, pulling yourself out of the rut your in and laying new roots somewhere completely away from the situation you were just in. I suggest taking a good look at yourself and reinvent you apart from what you were in your five year relationship, find you again, and just live life for all it's worth, don't let the bad from this relationship pull you down. When the going gets tough the tough get going and in time this will be nothing more then a lesson learned in love (everyone has them)! Good Luck!

the best part of losing someone is the overwhelming comfort God brings in the healing, the getting better.
The HOPE.
